What color should I paint my living room?

We are moving into a new house, and don't want to go with white walls. I want something that will look good with our couch color, but don't want to go too crazy. My couch is a sage green color. What color coordinates well with this?

What color should I paint my living room?
With Sage, you want to stay with the warm tones; yellows/peaches/tans/browns///NO cool tones like blue/reds/purples/etc.. I think a nice light or medium shade of yellow is the first thing that pops in to my mind...just don't go too dark with any color or you will get awfully tired of it!!!
Reply:We have a sage green room with a tanish brown couch and it looks great! Just reversed, we added yellow accents, just a little cause too much will take away from the room! Report It
Reply:maybe like a baige
Reply:You could do Terra cotta.
Reply:Ivory White
Reply:Neutrals!!! A warm beige with gold undertones would look great! If you want to add a bit more color, sage ans lavendar go very well together, so use some lavender accents.
Reply:mint green
Reply:burgandy or a pastel dark dusty pink
Reply:a muted gold.

see sherwin williams Restrained or Mannered Gold.
Reply:brown bears paint
Reply:I have a dusty blue accent, and some browns. The blue/green/khaki color combination is really big on HGTV right now, and I love it.
