100% sure he's dead.......i mean bco'z of the last scene....he was pierced by six spears....then.....he struggles to gave the info he got to one of the frogs and.....then he falls and the "Pains" attacked him....again....he's dead....NO! I DON't WANT HIM TO DIE BUT HIS DEAD! OH NARUTO WILL BE SOOO FURIOUS!

Reply:well it looks like Jiraiya did die, but we haven't actually seen him die yet, Pein was just about to deal the real final blow to kill Jiraiya, we dont get to see what happens after that so its not for certain.

it is also true that Jiraiya was in the process of dying after he gave the Pa frog the info on Pein's identity, but again, we dont actually see him die, we just asume he died.

all i'm saying is that knowing Kishimoto there's gonna be something completely unexpected in the next chapter that could just save jiraiya, but these are all probabilities.

i really dont want Jiraiya to die so i keep hoping for the unexpected even though there's a low probability =D
