What paint colour goes with this decor colour scheme?

Hi there, we are decorating our baby's nursery soon.

I have chosen dark cherry wood furniture, black %26amp; white french toile/gingham bed linens and some apple or lime green accents (pillows, stuffed animals, etc.).

My question is what kind of paint colour would be best for the walls? Should I stick to something neutral or paint it say a sage green or completely something different? Need advice. Thanks!!

sage is a great color i have it in my dining room but have thought of possibly using a grey and sage mix? i think that may be the way to go. you will get the sage only muted by the grey and its a color that won't need updating for a while. grey with the black/white and dark cherry will certainly pop.
Reply:I think neutral would be best with all the patterns going on
Reply:I would go neutral. Just because you don't want to overwhelm people when they walk in. I would pait the room a nice fresh white. That way you can use as many different accent colors as you want.
Reply:Sage is perfect for this decor. I have used this for many rooms with cherry furniture. With the toile you can add any color accents in the room but the sage will definitely make the room pop. And it's not a baby color so it will last into toddler and older.
