Does white seem to girlie to put in a sage green and yellow nursery?

Those colors are great neutrals, and calming colors. Very appropriate and cute.

Reply:white can be used for boys if the furniture is not feminine. I noticed usually that the white cribs can sometimes look girly because of the design. But, if it's plain white furniture I think a boy can also use it.

Reply:not at all! white goes with everything so it can be reused if you have a girl later on in life.



Besides, babies don't care about that kind of thing.

But try paring it up with a darker color, like navy and touches of yellow and a sports theme, that seems more mascline.

Reply:I really don't think white is too anything. It's just furniture. The way you decorate the bed and the room is what gives it personality.

Reply:I am about as anti "gender neutral" of a person as you will ever find .... I ride a Harley ... hang out at Stripclubs ... would be considered by most any "open minded person" as a biggotted chauvanist etc etc ..... and I would say that " white is alright " ..... man that sounds racists but I did not mean it to ... my wife did Navy Blue on the bottom3 ft of the room with white for the top portion of the walls above it and white chair rail with denim curtains and we got an almond all in one crib set ...... and walmart quit selling the model crib we bought and now just has it in white , and I would think it is acceptable for my son ........
Reply:I think white furniture works well for a boy or girl. As long as its not pink and purple I don't think he'll mind lol :)
