How can you get soy sauce smell from the couch?

i was eating some california rolls while sitting on the couch and dropped soy sauce on it (will never eat on the couch, that was the first and last). i cleaned it with a amp cloth. it's clean now but it still smells like soy sauce.

use febreeze. works every time.
