Scorpian stings..again and again.. why this sage trying to save it ?

A river. To reach that end, we have to cross the river, since no bridge there. A sage who while crossing the river, saw a scropian struggling for life. This sage in order to save the life of the scrorpian, picks it by hand, but the scrorpian stings him again and again. The sage doesn't care the sting saves the life of the creature. Even know fully it is poisounous, why this sage try to save the creature ?

i would guess the sage does not believe the scorpion does it to be vicious, the scorpion does it because it is scared, or can not help it physically or is ignorant in such a way that the sage believes it is still the right thing to do for the scorpion.

the sage believes all life, generally are for good, not evil

the scorpion stinger is for protection, not for striking for no reason.
Reply:I would assume because the sage believes all life is sacred, and is willing to sacrifice his own comfort to save another life.
Reply:Each does what they must in life. The sage must honor and preserve life. The scorpion must sting. That is their nature.
