My baby's room has slanted ceilings starting at 42 inches up the wall. Any suggestions on decorating?

The ceilings slant on the left %26amp; right sides of the room. Straight ahead is a window and the back wall has the door. So its even going to be difficult to position the crib. My fiance wants to do paneling. Is that going to look terrible on the slanted ceiling? Or should we paint all one color, or maybe just the wall with the window or door a different color. My colors are pink/mauve and sage green.

I wouldn't use paneling. Instead, I'd use a light, bright color on the ceiling, and use a number of brightly colored, detailed posters so your baby can have something interesting to look at and focus on. Change them around every few months. I can clearly remember some Henri Rousseau prints that were on my bedroom walls -- my mother told me they were damaged in a storm when I was about 15 months old.
Reply:i like HGTV's Divine Design.
