What is a good color to paint a bedroom with blue curtains?
It is important that the color in the different rooms around the house come together logically. Analyze each of the tones; determine which colors, and in what proportions, they complement each other to give the final result.

Here are ten household helpful hints for choosing room colors:

1 Brighten up the darker spaces by painting the walls in pale colors.

2 If you paint a high ceiling a dark color, will make it look lower.

3 A light blue or a gray make a small room seem wider.

4 Use the wall colors to mark off areas according to actives.

5 Red and reddish tones are bold, exciting colors which stimulate movement. They are especially suitable for work areas.

6 Yellows are warm, bright colors, ideal for dark spaces to make us feel cozy.

7 Green is essentially linked to life; it reminds us of nature and is perfect for interiors we want to connect with outside.

8 Blues are fresh, harmonious, and easy to combine. They remind us of vast extensions of sea and sky.

9 To make a room more radiant, you can paint the walls in light colors and introduce dashes of color through the furniture, complements, and ornaments.

10 Neutral colors like beiges and browns combine well with other tones and give the room a natural feel.

Color is clearly the most visible linking factor between separate rooms and is ideal for giving consistency to the decoration scheme of a whole house.
Reply:cream with bright white woodwork trim
Reply:light grey dark grey a off yellow could work black i think would be realy cool you dont whant to use white its to common laveder would look great and will probly mach your furniture as whell
Reply:We all have a style all our own, so I like to keep my walls white, in everyroom, and then add color with {like you have done the curtains are blue} and pictures, clocks, bedding...etc. Its fun and it makes it "yours"
Reply:white looks good with blue, or an off white color. Not only will it make the room look bigger it goes with any other color too..

White is the best decorating color. expecally for walls. Good luck,
Reply:Butter yellow,

or a lighter gray-ish toned blue, or stark white.
Reply:white or light colour or else the room will get darke
Reply:hot pink mamma go for it pure prety pink with prety yellow polka- dots so kool!!
Reply:light yellow. good luck!
Reply:I believe white curtains would look better with blue walls, so if the curtains are blue, it all depends on if they are more pastel blue, navy blue, neon blue, or royal blue.

Also, what kind of feeling would you liek the room to have? Is it an office, den, living room, or bedroom?

Defining what the room is going to be used for, will help you decide what color you want on the walls. The more cozy you want it to feel, the darker you'll want the walls to be!
Reply:gray
Reply:pink, light blue, yellow. I personally prefer dark bedroom so the lightness won't wake me up too early in the morning on weekends, however, from what I see here people like light bedrooms. I guess it depends on the person
Reply:White if it's LIGHT blue.

Beige if it's DARK blue. If the beige has a tint of orange in it, that's even better since blue and orange are complimentary colors.
Reply:cream. or ivory. or light robin's blue.

good luck!
Reply:lime green
Reply:yellow,, apple green, white, peach colour will match the rm.You may use 2 colour contrast also.
Reply:PURE WHITE. It will look well together.
Reply:I would chose a soft, creamy buttery yellow. That will be cheerful but still neutral. Beware of choosing a shade of yellow though. I was told that yellow, more than any other color, intensifies when put on walls and it's true. Go lighter than you think you should and experiment before choosing.
