What kind of necklace should you wear with a strapless dress?

Just wanted some opinions for my bridesmaids gifts, I want to get them necklaces but am having a hard time picking out a necklace. I don't know if a choker would be better or a something dangly. The girls dresses are sage green. Any suggestions on what kind, and where you suggest getting them from would be great!!!

What kind of necklace should you wear with a strapless dress?
Some long dangly chain necklaces with champagne colored crystals would really complement the sage green dresses.
Reply:strapless dresses.... hmmm..... well not a choker, that would look cheap, like u didnt have enough $ to but a good thing, and not too bulky either, that wouldnt look good w/ that color. what to get? thin, best silver chain, same color small shells or small flat beads dangling off the chain. beads/shells can be same size, or smaller in back/bigger in front center. this will show off neckline, shoulders, chest (best combo) good luck, hope it helps!

Reply:i think a dangly one, but one with a small diamond (or something cheaper if you wish lol) thats not too much, but will finish the outfit off. i would recommend silver or white gold to go with sage green, it goes better than gold! :o)
Reply:I am having the same problem, my girls dresses are sage and strapless. I am looking for a necklace with a pendant. Something small, but enough to show. I think chokers look bad with strapless dresses. Also you don't want anything that is too big or dangly!
Reply:A narrow (about an inch or less) chocker with a small dangling pendant on front. I'd say look for a matching colour to the dress for the choker, with a silver pendant, or maybe a crystal drop. If you cant find any, they'd be easy to make and customise, just find some pendants or charms and some ribbon that matches the gowns, though preferebly a ribbon that can take the weight of the charm. You can buy and attach clasps, or make it a tie-on choker.

Reply:i'm not sure.. but i do know that my friends one time wore this really pretty strapless dress with this neclace... it was silver and had a large pendant. here i'll show you a pic. i thought it looked really good.

Reply:i think you should pick a choker. Since the dresses are sage green, i think you should pick a dianomd-like choker. i think that would be pretty.
