my room is sorta similar to that color
Reply:If you use Benjamin Moore paints, the color Grenada Green is very pretty when paired with an off-white trim. I have it in my bedroom and is very relaxing and makes the room seem happier. Report It
Reply:sage is a nice color---but go to your local lowes or home depot and checkout their paint sections you can pick from the color swatches even tape it to your wall and see if you like it then.
Reply:Go to www.valsap.com. They have a program that will help you pick out the right colors for your room and you can save them if you wish. You will be able to see the paint on the walls with fabrics that you have and accent colors. It's a hell of a lot cheaer than buying paint and having to repaint a year later. ( That's where I am now!!)
Reply:If you like someone else's wall, ask what color they painted it. Otherwise, check the paint chips at the store (there could be a jillion paints called sage green) or google a website where you can see the whole room painted the color online (most paint manufacturers have this).

Good luck! (:
Reply:Why do you want to paint your room green?

Do you have a great comforter, picture or area rug that has this colour in it? If so, take it with you to the paint store to find the correct colour to match to it. I also would suggest when you find the colour you want, go 2 shades lighter, or take a small sample of the paint home and paint a 4'x4' area with it. You can do this with more than one colour. This will help you see the colour in the room before you go to the time and expense of painting the whole room.

I personally love the colour green!

Good luck with it,
Reply:Pale Green, Pastel Green, Light Green, Sage Green %26amp; Light Yellow-Green are all nice shades of a Lighter Green. I would visit a local paint store- they often have little card-samples of the many various colors of paint which they sell.
Reply:Grab as many paint sample cards are you can from your local hardware store or Walmart (walmart actually has very good paint)...take them home and tape them to existing wall. Look at them at different times of day on different walls and see what looks good in the light of your room.

Then think about furnishings? Do you already have comforter and such. Will it match?

What kind of complimentary colors will you use? Do you have white trim in your room? Stained trim?

Sounds like you are more of a earth tone kinda girl. If you have a Lowes nearby. Go and take a look at the Earth Tones section. They have some really nice greens that are earthy, warm, and relaxing.
Reply:try either light blue or since you are a girl, pink
Reply:Go to www.materials-worl-.com-paint.colors.

There are dozens to choose from. I like Rockwood Jade

[ it's really sage ].
Reply:My best advice to you is before you pick the Green and yes Light Green is a awesome color . Go to a paint to or likr a home depot and ask then to mix the colors for you and then put it on the paper. Bring all of the colors of light Green that they did for you home and see how it looks like at night and daytime. Then you can pick the perfect color for you that is unquie and that you love the most!! I have painted houses inside and out in different place of the US and the worse thing is if you dont like that color after ward. Make sure that you get the right paint tecture as well. I hope that I have helped you !

Cheers!!!
