How to use animal prints in a bedroom?

We are redecorating my 9 yr old daughters bedroom. We have just painted her walls a light sage- almost lime green with white trim. She is a real animal lover and wants to us animal print fabrics in her room but I am unsure how to make it work and not overpower the room. Can I us a solid color bedding such as purple and accent with animal prints? I want to give it a jungle/safari look but still be girlish also. I see alot of various prints being mixed and matched in kids rooms these days but I am just unsure how to pull it all together.

Thanks!

Reply:I wouldn't go overboard on the print. For instance, just buy throw pillows, throw blanket, rug, and lamp shade in animal print. Also....you can throw little animal figurines on a shelf...or even stuffed animals. Good Luck...I'm sure it's gonna turn out great either way you do it!
Reply:i would definitely use them as accents, maybe some throw pillows or a lampshade, a throw rug. dont use too many different colors it will look busy to the eye and she will never fall asleep!
Reply:Well, fi you paint the room in one tone, you could drow like a path all around the room, like in the middle of the walls.

I cant really explain by this.

Profecional painter and dec.
Reply:maybe toss pillows because you can sew a cover for them later if you get tired of the look
Reply:You can accessorize with a zebra or tiger print rug and one of these prints:

You can turn the print into a canvas and add richness to the room.

Good Luck!
