If you're not sure..don't use it.
Reply:The biggest problem with Sage is if you ingest it. It can bring on contractions so I would probably avoid all of it until after you give birth to be on the safe side. I would say the risk would be minimal with a bubble bath because its not going to have a high concentration of the actual herb or the essential oil, but to be on the safe side I would save it for a treat for after you have the baby.
Reply:if it say's on the bottle not to why take the risk at such a late stage of your pregnancy? Xx
Reply:If it says on the bottle not to use as a precaution i wouldnt use it. I would wait for the baby to come when its ready.
Reply:I would air on the side of caution and not use it. Whenever you arent sure, better safe than sorry! Congratulations and best of luck to you!
Reply:i have a book about what not to eat/use during pregnancy and it says to avoid clary sage completely in pregnancy but it can be used during labour. ive also looked it up online and it says clary sage can be used to induce labour. so i think if you are looking to bring on labour then you can use it but otherwise id stay away.

the only danger i can find about clary sage in pregnancy is that it is emmenagogic which apparently means it can encourage mentration and the removal of blood so it could cause a misscarraige, contractions or cause the placenta to come away.

it sounds dangerous so i wouldnt use it unless you are 37weeks or more (full term).

i hope that helps :)
Reply:i would say not too...let the baby come when its ready. the babies lungs aren't fully developed. i wouldn't take the chance.

good luck and congrats
