it doesnt smell like marijuana..but it is used to keep evil spirits away..i guess thats what indians do..but it doesnt smell like marijuana..its just a spice..
Reply:I don't think it smells like marijuana at all. We sometimes use it as a spice in our pork dishes.
Reply:Sage is used to ward off bad spirits. ie: to "clean house". To puify. As for the smell, I don't think it smells like pot. It kinda stinks, like burning paper and dried leaves. Anyway, I hope this answers you question.

Reply:It doesn't smell like marijuana. It actually smells very good and has a cleansing effect. We use it to "smoke" or "smudge" our house. It's an Indian thing! It cleans the area of any negativity.
Reply:well there are certain types of sage, nd its true, one type of sage does smell exactly like pot. i know. i dried out some leaves from my friends plant. nd my aunt came in nd thought i was smokin, lol. but it doesnt change your state of mind though, if thats what ur wonderin
