Do you know where i can obtain salvia divinorum seeds? (Diviner's sage, sage of the seers, salvia)?

I ask because not only am I interested in experimenting with it, but because I want to grow it, cultivate it, and prepare it, just as I do with all the other plants that I grow in my garden. I'm not interested in any other kind of info other than websites or physical places local in Louisiana where I can obtain SEEDS and seeds only. I don't care where I can obtain leaves, tinctures or extracts, so please don't answer if that's what you intend on telling me.

I am only interested in where i can obtain seeds for diviner's sage (salvia divinorum) so that I can cultivate it along with my other plants in the mint family. I have a modest garden of mints and I believe that diviner's sage would be a great addition. It's just that I'm having trouble locating seeds, and any help on where I can obtain some would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Salvia divornum is one of a few plants that rarely set viable seed and if you find them they are going to be "spendy". Also beware of hucksters selling bogus seed. Your best bet would be a live plant, I got mine on eBay.
Reply:try the net
Reply:I've actually found it in started plants at Orchard Supply Hardware... I didn't think it was actually the right one, but lo and behold it was...
Reply:Some States are trying to put together legislation concerning the ban on Salvia considering it's intoxication properties similar to that of marijuana. It can soon become the next illegal substance commodity so obtaining seeds might be very difficult.
