butter yellow or a soft pumpkin color

I have sage green furniture in my living room and I want to paint the walls. What color would look best?
that's the color i want for my furniture in my living room. my walls are a yellowy gold color. i was looking for a mediterranean/tuscan look. how about red? brikcy deep red? maybe one wall as an acccent and then a yellowy color for the rest? or just go golden yellow?

what look are you after?
Reply:Use neutral colors with a hint of brown in it.
Reply:taupe, chocolate brown, a neutral like tan with accent wall of cinnamon ,deep purple, yellow, coral..really depends on what you like..accessories, throw pillows, area rug can bring it alll together. remember paint is relatively cheap, you can always redo it
Reply:Butter yellow (or even a lighter shade, like almond)
Reply:I think taupe would look nice. In my living room I have 2 opposite walls a darker taupe and the other 2 a little lighter.
Reply:I agree with angie x the beige or cream color would look great I couldn't imagine any other color
Reply:Pink walls would go good with sage green furniture.
Reply:beige,light brown,cream
Reply:It would depend on the look you are going for and the style of furniture. If you were going southwestern a medium gold color would look good as would a muted orangy red. If you are going for a more classic look an off white or med. gray Do you have a rug or carpet with the sage green in it if so take one of the other colors in the rug and use that.
Reply:Neutral is always best with most decor. That is why when you look in model home, the walls are almost always like this to better accent the surroundings. I suggest that you get a nice painting to stand out. I can email you some examples if you like.
