I need to find a way of overriding a password on my Sage ACT database please.?

I use Sage act 2008 10.0, CRM system. For some reason I wont take the password (i was pretty sure it was correctly entered) Therefore I cannot gain access to my database. Anyone know how i can override a password otherwise i will have to start over again

I need to find a way of overriding a password on my Sage ACT database please.?
I think this question is too specialised for this forum to give step by step instructions on how this can be done. I have had the same problem in the past and we used a third party to repair our database.

The ACT web site offers a service that can repair your database, but there is a price attached.

You need to weigh up the pro's and con's. If the information inside the database is worth more than the cost of the repair then go with the repair. I think we paid a fixed price somewhere in the region of 500 GBP (1000 USD) for our repair. It took a few days for the repair to be done but was successful in the end.

There are third parties offering this kind of service so you don't have to go directly to ACT/Sage.

I'm sure with the benefit of hindsight you wished you'd backup up the database regularly. So you should consider backing up the data regularly when you get ACT back up and running.
