What do you think of the name Sage for a girl?

What do you think of the name Sage for a girl?
Hippie name. With a four-syllable last name, I would go for more than one syllable in the first name. Samatino has such a lovely flow and Sage is very short and harsh.
Reply:it's kinda unique and if you're going to put a 2nd name on it that sounds for a gurl it would be nicer too. if i ever i would have another baby i definitely go for a unique name too... i already have 2 gurls their names is not that unique but i like it very much coz it has meaning for me... my name is jenny mah 1st baby was Jenzeline and the 2nd one is Jennea Angela...if you think that it meant something for you then gor for sage....

It can be pronounced without doubt. It is straight-forward yet has character. It also has the delightful affect of alliteration with a hint of business thrown in.

Reply:I love it. I already had my kids 4 of them, I hadn't heard of that name before my kids were born. I liked the name so I gave it to my female cat. But if I did have another girl I would consider Sage. and yes even if is my cats name. I got the name of my 2nd son (Christopher) from a cat I had when I was a kid.
