Russian Sage Question?

I was spraying Roundup on some weeds around my Russian Sage - I noticed that there were some off-shoots from the sage a foot or so from the main plant and they were sprayed as well... will this kill the main plant?

Russian Sage Question?
It will kill the offshoots, but not the main plant.
Reply:Yes, try to give you plant a lot of water in the next few days to dilute the Round up as much as possible. This will make it less potent and hopefully save your Prevoskia.
Reply:Try cutting out the sprayed offshoots. The roundup has dried on those parts of the plant and the plant could continue to take the poison in through this section. Odds are good it won't kill your whole plant. I know it certainly won't kill the thistle in my yard ;)
