with breast side up from the back and front of the bird lift up the skin a bit so you can add in fresh herbs like parsley, basil and thyme leaves then basted the chicken with a little olvie oil on top of the skin to halp it brown that is it. What is really cool with this when you place the herbs nicely underskin it not only flavors the bird but gives it a wow factor because your guess will see it under the skin and it looks nice.
Also another thing you can do too is to inject the bird with a injertor just melt half a stick of butter and add in some kind of powder spice blend (if it was me with sage go with emerails southern bland) Just add in 1 tablespoon into the butter and injected it into the meat part of the bird. Make several points to add in the flavor.
Last case just use a little salt and pepper with olvie oil on the top and add a bit (lightly is the key her) yellow curry powder
