What color roses would mathch with sage bridesmaids dresses?
I called my friend, who is a florist and this is what she told me.

Ask for a swatch/color sample of the dress and take it to your florist. The florist will help you choose the complimentary colors for your bridesmaids bouquets.

Choose one main color and 2 complimentary colors.

Your maid/matron of honor's bouquet should be slightly different, but stay within the same color range, from the bridesmaids, as her duties are are a bit more entailed.

The same applies to the boutonnieres.

White is reserved for the bride.

However, my niece had 2 extra roses placed in her bouquet. One to compliment her mom's dress and one to compliment her fiances mom's dress. As the newly weds turned to walk back up the aisle, she removed on and handed it to her mom, her fiance removed the other one and handed it to his mom.

The colors you choose for the wedding party, should be used at the reception, to prevent clashing.

Picture sage green dresses at a reception with red roses.

Follow a few basic rules and you will have a beautiful wedding, complete with photos that you will cherish for the rest of your life.

Reply:I would go yellow or cream-or if you can find them, the cream roses that have the kinda mauve accents on them.
Reply:I know alot of people who love white flowers, but personally, I think it's boring. I love the red idea, or a "rose" colored rose. That would be a beautiful contrast.
Reply:Think ablout black roses. Seriously. Black goes with everything including sage very elegantly and you'll have a 'feature' that people will talk about foever. Also it will just make your wedding a lil bit different from everyone else out there wit out goin too crazy.
Reply:Cream or yellow. Actually, any pale pastel will look really great. Sage is actually a pseudo-neutral like navy or burgundy, there are very few colors that look bad with it.
Reply:white. i really think white would look amazing. sage is such a difficult color to math with anything else. but white would be a nice clean way to go
