which one would you add to chicken.
Tyme or sage.?
Thyme
Reply:Sage is what everyone uses, so I would opt for thyme mixed with sausagemeat, apricots and a few nuts, mix together, and fill the cavity of chicken. Prick a few holes in top of chicken and baste with cider (10fl oz.)
Reply:BOTH MAKE CHICKEN TASTE GOOD!!!!
BUT TRY SOME ROSEMARY!!!!! TASTE THE BEST!!!
Reply:I like thyme and rosemary on chicken.
Reply:Depends on how your preparing it.
I like to make sage butter (soften butter, add sage, mix), rub it on the outside of the chicken, and even stuff some beneath the skin around the breast and thigh area, and roast it.
But you could do the same with virtually any fresh herb, including thyme.
Reply:either or both will work well. combining herbs will often give u adifferent and good taste i've used this combo in rolls and it worked great.
Reply:thyme is nicer,seemingly.
Reply:you can use either but I like to use thyme and rosemary more
Reply:I prefer thyme. If you decide to use sage go easy at it has a very overpowering taste.
Reply:Sage hun, better for me dont like thyme
star time
xxxxxxxxxxx
Reply:both nice with chicken but sage is more classic.
Reply:Thyme with chicken, sage with pork
Reply:Well, I'm not stephen hawking, so I'm not that good at physics so I don't know how to add time to chicken. I can't even think how you can do that...lol
I don't have much time on my hands for thyme either.
But the sage will turn the chicken into a sage......who'd want a bearded 1000 year old chicken that can tell the future?
