I need some help. I am going to paint a mask but do not have the color sage ( a green). I have hundreds of other colors. Does anyone know how to mix the color sage using other colors.
Making the color sage with paint.?
i'd go with a yellow and a lower tone blue, and add some brown. perhaps a bit of white to brighten it up, depending on how deep the yellow and blue are. the brown will ground it, keep it in a more neutral tone.
here's a very rudimentary color mixer online. http://painting.about.com/library/blpain...
Reply:I had to mix sage once with house paints. Make up a medium light green and slowly add bits of red or pink to it until you get the color you want. Too much red or pink, and it will get too gray.
Reply:the right yellow and black can make a great sage.
Reply:I'm not actually sure how sage looks like but following this diagram, i would say that you should add some red into it to make it less intense (grayer) and then add white. Also add blue to it.
