Girl's Rm: Sage and Lilac?

My husband and I expecting a girl in June. We decided to do her room in sage and lilac colors. However, we haven't figured out exactly how to set up the room. I was thinking butterflies, fairies, polka dots, stripes. I just can't figure out how to set up.



Can you offer suggestions?

Those were the colours my husband and I were going to do our baby's room so we started with sage walls. Then we had a boy and had to accent in cream. He is very sweet but I had some ideas for the room. If you go to Cityline.com and Martha Stewart's websites, they have the most adorable ideas for little kids rooms. Just as an example, they had shadow boxes (bought at IKEA) and put a finger puppet in each one and painted the frames in the colour of the room. They had a row of five frames with just one little finger puppet in each. It was truly adorable. You could find finger puppets of fairies perhaps or other mythical creatures. Check those websites out for momentos for the future for your little one too!

Reply:The colors sound absolutely beautiful. I've been seeing a lot of fairy stuff lately in compatible colors so that's the way I'd go. It will be easier to find all the accessories. And congratulations on you baby girl.
